My name is Tanya and I have been a member of Lucille Roberts since last June. For as long as I can remember, I have always been overweight. In middle school, I was so heavy I was put on diets by physicians, and they didn’t work. I tried karate before high school...didnt work. In high school when I weighed around 200 pounds, I tried a billion diet pills and food diets but they didn’t make a difference. I even tried weight watchers in high school and ended up gaining 15 lbs!.

Last February I had my first baby and had gained a considerable amount of weight. I weighed 258 pounds in March and the weight was not coming off.

In June I decided to join Lucille Roberts for the classes hoping they would motivate me. My plan was to get to the gym 2 times a week and work out at home 3 days a week. After joining and meeting the staff at Lucille Roberts, I now go to the gym 4 days a week and take 2-3 classes each time I go! All the classes are wonderful!.

Since joining the gym I am 51 pound lighter! I couldn’t be happier and I do plan to continue going to the gym. My goal is to weigh 175 pounds by the end of the year. I am sure in the pictures I have sent that you can see the wonderful difference, but the effect that joining Lucille Roberts has made on my life and in my journey to becoming a healthier happier me has been invaluable!
