Weight Loss Before and After Photos
My name is Kelley and I have lost 35 lbs over the course of 1 1/2 years. I have always been up and down with my weight since I was young due to on and off seasons for sports. More recently, my annual winter hibernation in which I turn into a bear by eating enormous amounts of comfort food and never leaving my apartment had left me a bit chunky and very unhealthy. I changed this 2 years ago with a New Year’s Resolution (no, not the cliché 'I'm not going to eat ANY junk food and I'm going to the gym EVERY SINGLE DAY' kind). I simply gave up coffee and started drinking Green Tea. With this small step, I began thinking more about eating organic foods and started making my own fresh lunches at work. Then, I began cooking more at home and shopping in either Trader Joes or Whole Foods to insure I was eating the right things. After about 6 months of slowly changing my diet for the better, I decided to start working out. I came to Lucille Roberts for the low prices and the convenience of it being only 1 block from my house. This was the first time I got weighed since a Dr's appointment (before this transition began). Once I started working out, I started really toning and losing the inches especially around my arms and waste. Currently, I'm 130lbs, I'm really beginning to see definition in every part of my body and I'm looking to reach my goal of 125lbs by my wedding March 20, 2010- slow and steady! I'd like anyone reading to know nothing happens overnight- its the small changes and little extra things you do for yourself that add up to greatness!
