"Don't think - just sweat!" Forget difficult choreography. This easy to follow class gives you a total body workout. It even works your abs! Simple one minute intervals of cardio are combined with one minute intervals of body sculpting for an exhilarating workout. It's so much fun, it'll be over before you know it.

Belly Dancing Workouts for Cardio Fitness

Our belly dancing classes are also considered a workout because with the correct approach, our belly dancing classes incorporate both cardiovascular and aerobic exercise. Belly dancing classes offer a unique, fun, and some would say "sexy" way to get in shape. In order to treat belly dancing as a cardio workout, our trained and qualified fitness instructors give belly dancing lessons with routines that have selections of the ideal music and duration, performed with arms and hands up above your heart level: enough to get your heart rate up, put a smile on your face, and a wiggle in your hips.

Belly Dancing Classes for Weight Loss

Belly dancing classes are group exercise classes where the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it. The more you move, the more calories you will burn. The more you dance, the more exercise you will get and as with any physical activity; the weight loss benefits are endless. Aerobic classes at Lucille Roberts called Cardio ? Low include floor combinations which are low impact routines. The aerobic exercises in these aerobic classes keep one foot in contact with the floor at all times. Are You Ready for Cardio Stack Core Attack?

Cardio Stack Core Attack is an interval, athletic training challenge for all levels of fitness. Cardio and toning circuits are followed by a core section done on the floor. Interval training alternates brief periods of high intensity workouts with low intensity recovery periods. An example of one such cycle or repetition of interval training would be if you were to run as fast as possible for 60 to 90 seconds and then walked briskly for one or two minutes.

Benefits of the interval training style include:

  • Provides both aerobic and anaerobic exercise
  • Burns calories at a greater pace
  • Builds endurance
  • Can be modified to apply to different fitness levels

The core exercises part of the Cardio Stack Core Attack program integrate routines that will help you to lose fat, gain muscle and lose weight. Classic Cardio classes at Lucille Roberts offer a new twist to some classic cardio moves to really get your heart rate going. In select Lucille Roberts Women's Gym locations, we offer Classic Cardio video class. This is a new and exciting offer allowing us to give you more ways and more opportunities to get a great workout and get in shape fast.

Classic Cardio and other video workout classes include large screen high definition viewing capabilities for HDTV workouts. There are no instructors, just you and anyone else that may care to join you.
