Spring is here so I thought whipping up this creamy Green Coconut smoothie would be a great idea!
The green in this recipe comes from healthful spinach, which is an excellent source of other antioxidant nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin A. Spinach is also a food that is extremely heart healthy.
This smoothie works well for breakfast or a midday snack. The coconut gives it an island kick to get you dreaming about sandy beaches.
Here’s what you need:
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup fat-free yogurt
- 1 large banana, peeled
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 scoop vanilla Live Rite
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 cup ice
- Combine all ingredients together and blend till smooth.
