Berry Mint Weight Loss Smoothie

Berries, what’s not to love?

Paired with mint, this combination is a winner.

We already know that fruits, berries in particular, are great sources of antioxidants. However, when it comes to mint, the health benefits of this smoothie are even greater. Mint is an ideal palate cleanser that assists in the body’s digestion and soothes the stomach. With that, mint helps in your efforts to lose weight by stimulating the digestive enzymes that absorb nutrients from food and consume fat and turn it into usable energy. So drink up!

Here’s what you need:
  • 1 cup of milk (your choice)
  • 1 cup raspberries (fresh of frozen)
  • 1/4 cucumber chopped
  • 5 sprigs fresh mint
  • a few ice cubes
  • 1 scoop vanilla Live Rite
Directions:

Add all ingredients together, blend, and enjoy!
