Lucille Roberts Teams Up with Bloggers for Total Transformation

We are thrilled to announce that, over the coming months, we’ll be chronicling the life-changing makeovers of several bloggers who have agreed to let us whip them into shape while they write about their experiences on their blogs. These ladies will be attending classes, working out with our best trainers, and using our diet tips to completely change their lifestyles, health, and bodies!

We’ll be linking to their updates so that you can follow their progress. Please feel free to leave comments to encourage our blogging ladies through their journey!

    I was way over weight and as of today I am down 89.2 lbs. I don’t use any weight loss products or mixes. I work out at Lucille and I’m on weight watchers. I was 250lbs and lost 89 lbs. Be strong and stay focused and you also can achieve a better you. Good luck ladies

    Wow! Congrats Mary! This is such a motivation… How long did it take to loose that much weight? What was your diet plan like & how many classes u did per day? My goal is to loose 30 to 50 pounds ASAP but its so hard :(

    hey girls.I`ve been working out at lucille`s gym for about month. when i joined,my goal was to lose at least 10lb but so far I lost 4lb only.this is very frustrated for me. I still having hope to accomplish my goal though.

      Amani – Have you considered working with a personal trainer? Members who work with a trainer tend to get the best results in the shortest amount of time.

    Hi,

    I have been a member of Lucille Roberts Commackfor 2 years and have lost 68 pounds. It has been slow, but very rewarding. I have about 40-50 mores pounds to go. I have a trainer, I take many classes, eat well and have a very supportive gym. No gimmicsl which I love.

    Is there a why to sign up for this? I would love it be apart of it.

      You can do it! Keep at it. Hopefully you’ll find some useful diet and exercise tips on here. Anything specific that you’re interested in learning about that we could address on this blog? There are probably many moms reading who, like you, are trying to lose some baby weight. How can we help?

    I have been a member of Lucille Roberts for 5 years. I love working out! I had a baby in March and Gained 46 pounds while I was pregnant, currently I have lost 31. I am working hard to lose those last 15. I Zumba 2 nights per week and do a step or turbo kick class one day per week. I also do Weight Watchers. I feel like it’s time to amp up my routine to lose the rest of the weight!

      Wow, you’ve come a long way! Congratulations on your progress. Those last 15 lb. will come off if you just keep at it, and it sounds like you’re doing that! Have you tried a HIIT class (High Intensity Interval Training)? Check out Dr. Emily’s tip about interval training: http://www.lucilleroberts.com/blog/?p=106. You could also consider small group training or personal training; ask the front desk at your club for more info if you’re interested.

    Hi my name is Donna McCray I have bee going to Lucille Roberts for one month in 1/2 in the Clifton Gym in New Jersey…. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ZUMBA classes there I have lost 15 pounds… everyone there in sooooooo nice!!!! Gotto go I only have 15 mins to get ready for my class!!!!! thanks Donna McCray
