The 28-year-old actress and mother of two revealed to Eonline that her body is a result of a strict set of rules she abides by. “I have no cheat days and I exercise really hard twice a week.” She adds that she cut out all bread and any related carbohydrates, but confesses if she did have a cheat day pizza and cake are the way to go. At least we know she is human.
As for her workout she says, “I do bursts of cardio with really heavy weights and circuit training.”
For those who are not familiar, circuit training is described as short bursts of resistance exercise using moderate weights and frequent repetitions.
Each set of exercises are followed quickly by another burst of exercise targeting a different muscle group. A circuit that combines cardio and strength moves that targets fat and sculpts muscle.
Here are 6 basic circuit training moves that you can try at your next gym session:
- Jump Rope: do this for 60 seconds
- Burpees: do 10-15 reps
- High Knees: do 20 reps on each leg
- Ski Lunges: do 10- 15 reps on each leg
- Pulsing Side Plank: do 30 pulses on each side.
- Repeat all exercises 3x, alternating each time.
