Girl knows how to keep it real when it comes to fitness and dieting. Known for her witty humor and honesty, JLaw graces the December cover of InStyle to promote the sequel to the Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The pre-pixiecut photo shoot, which we love by the way, has the actress looking fresh faced and gorgeous.
Over the years since rising to fame, Jennifer has been criticized on her curvy figure, but she doesn’t let that get to her embracing it. She undergoes fitness training to get into shape for her films, but aside from that she doesn’t worry much about how many carbs she eats or a strict workout plan.
“Nothing can motivate me” to diet and exercise, the actress tells InStyle. “During Hunger Games, when I was eating ungodly amounts, I used to tell myself, ‘Stop eating, people are going to see this. This movie is going to be around forever.’ But nope! I was like, I still want candy and I still want a hot dog!” We admire her honesty.
Even though Jennifer isn’t the biggest fan of working out, she has been spotted leaving the gym sweaty and satisfied after taking boxing classes. The starlit tries not to focus on the burning calories aspect of exercising. Good for her!
We could all probably use JLaw as a model to tell ourselves that dieting and fitness isn’t what life’s all about. We should be exercising and eating right to stay healthy.
Thanks for the inspiration, JLaw!
