3 Ways To Save Hair At The Gym

Don’t lie. At one point or another you’ve skipped the gym because you didn’t want to mess up your hair. It’s OK. We’ve all done it. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Here are some tips and tricks to keep your hair in line while you get your fitness on.

Pre-Workout: Before tackling your workout, prep your hair with dry shampoo by spraying your roots. This will prevent your scalp from soaking up moisture. Looking for an alternative that you already own? Baby powder works if you take a small amount and use your finger tips to massage it into your roots!

During Your Workout: Keep your hair out of your face and dry by putting your hair in a high ponytail, a messy bun or a braid. Bonus tip: wear a sweatband. Although the look is a bit dated, it will keep sweat and hair products out of your eyes and off of your skin.

Post Workout: Take a towel and pat your hair down to remove extra moisture. Then flip your head upside down and brush or comb your locks out.
